TEAK AND HARDWOOD FURNITURE CARE
Golden Care® was founded on Teak and other Hardwood care products, which are preferred by 16 of the top 20 European and American Teak Furniture manufacturers for their superior performance.
If left to age naturally outside, the surface of teak will gradually change from its original golden-brown to a silver-grey as the pigments in the surface layer of the wood start to fade away.
A note about different hardwoods: Teak is a light, honey-brown colored hardwood. Our teak care products may also be used for all other light brown colored hardwoods e.g. iroko, yellow balau, keruing and others. Some hardwoods are dark brown or red-brown e.g. bangkirai, meranti, jarrah, nyatoh, red balau, and others, and for these hardwoods, we recommend our Golden Care Teak Cleaner, followed by the Golden Care Hardwood Protector.
