The Hardwood Protector is for other tropical hardwoods, like acacia, bangkirai, meranti, jarrah, nyatoh, or red balau. These hardwoods are not a light brown, but a dark brown or red brown. We recommend the use of our Hardwood Protector for all darker, red brown colored woods. It maintains the natural color of these tropical hardwoods for a longer time. The Hardwood Protector is a water-based formula that is non-flammable, solvent free and safe around the home. It is fast and easy to use. It lasts up to four times longer than teak oil, and unlike teak oil, is not greasy so does not stain clothing. Our Protector prevents black spots common to oils and guards against mildew. With superior penetration, the Hardwood Protector gives longer protection against discoloration. The Protector comes with an application cloth.
